Countless dreamers have looked to the sky, their thoughts fixed on flying.
The Wright brothers’ powered flight initiated men into a realization of that
dream. I, too, found myself with a very personal and enthusiastic dream of
flying as a boy. As a participant in a model plane tournament in elementary
school, I found the joy of making a model plane and tinkering with it to find
the perfect form. This boyhood pastime fostered my decision to major in
aeronautical and mechanical engineering in one of the best engineering schools
in Korea, Hankuk Aviation University.
